  Nice white sand beach with lots of eateries close by. Slightly touristy but not overwhelming. A great balance. Seems to have some surfing options. Town has a reasonable amount of street parking available.

  I went here one time, years ago with a couple friends of mine that lived in Santa Maria. It was so great and relaxing! Popped open a couple of beers, and soaked up some sun. You could walk a pretty far distance on the sandy beach to get to the water. It was so much nicer and warmer than northern Cali beaches are for chilling.
